Training contracts

We have an open view on recruiting trainees, although we will tend to prefer applicants with a minimum of an Upper Second Class degree and those who live within a reasonable traveling distance of our offices.

Our training is not one sided; we ensure all our trainees are properly trained and equally we expect them to show commitment to the firm. We have a high retention rate of trainees and, in fact, many have become partners.

We usually offer two trainee contracts each year, starting in September. Trainees will spend 6 months in four different seats, gaining experience of both contentious and non-contentions work. They work within partner-led teams, sharing in the work undertaken by the team.

Seats are normally available in the Business and Commercial, Property, Dispute Resolution, Employment, Trusts and Estates, Professional Practices, Family and Personal Injury teams.

September 2010 - Applications open until 30 April 2009. If we wish to take your application further, we will contact you in May/June 2009.
