London Office
Although we are predominantly a Surrey based firm, a great deal of our new instructions lead to us advising and representing clients in the High Court, London and also acting for London based clients.
Court business
We cover the Queens Bench, Chancery, Family, Companies, SCCO and TCCO Courts together with the Court of Appeal and, if necessary, Supreme Court. A number of our lawyers have City backgrounds and before joining us conducted the majority of their cases before all Divisions of the High Court and also the Court of Appeal.
We consider ourselves to be leading solicitors in both London and Surrey and are happy to accept instructions from both clients with cases in the High Court, TCCO or Family Registry, as well as solicitors nationwide who wish us to assist them on an agency basis.
Because we conduct such a large amount of business in the High Court, TCCO and Family Registry, from 1st January 2010 we moved our London office from Old Bailey to 218 The Strand, which is directly opposite the High Court and within a stones throw of the SCCO and Family Registry. This means that we are ideally placed to cater for all of our clients' needs.
Non-court commercial work
As well as conducting claims before the London Courts, we also act for a number of clients who have London business interests and who require commercial advice and assistance. Our Commercial Team regularly advise and act on range of matters, from take overs to copyright licences.
Overview
We are happy to act for any client who has business in London, whether contentious or non-contentious. Naturally, the advantage all of our clients have, is that they have the benefit of London solicitors but at Surrey rates!
