Wills, Trusts and Tax

We can help you and your other half make your will, so you can prescribe what is to happen to your assets on your death.  Our advice covers the rights of others to make a claim against your estate, and how best to avoid their claims.  If the value of your estate is likely to be more than £312,000 on your death, we address inheritance tax planning issues.

We advise on all sorts of lifetime and will trusts which enable you to shift ownership of property, in many cases tax efficiently, to achieve your objectives.

Many clients like to have enduring powers of attorney which enable a trusted appointee to manage their affairs, if and only when they become physically or mentally incapable of doing so themselves.  It can happen to young and old alike – for example, as a result of injuries in a road accident.  Couples usually appoint the other to act in their place but are not bound to do so.

Our clients say...

Thank you for all your help over the past months. I don't know if I could have coped on my own. "
