Surrey Wildlife Trust: Trainees put to work

18 July 2008

On a grey wet day early in July five of our trainee solicitors volunteered to spend a day getting their hands dirty clearing shrub and brambles for the Surrey Wildlife Trust.

They were preparing a six acre field on Brentmoor Heath, near Camberley for a new herd of rare Belted Gallaway cattle.

The volunteers from howell jones offices in Kingston, Walton-on-Thames and Guildford teamed up to help an SWT ranger prepare the ground for a three strand electric fence. This will keep the cattle in and marauding dogs out.

The full story, and some pictures, can be seen here.
