Balloon injury - our Personal Injury lawyers explain a HSE myth

Health and Safety Myths continued…

We have previously discussed the Health and Safety Executive’s (“HSE”) “Myths” section on their website.  The HSE regularly publish health and safety myths on their website to help provide guidance for members of the public and businesses.

The most recent article is in relation to balloons! A member of the public contacted the HSE after they were informed by library staff that they could not give out air-filled balloons to children for “health and safety” reasons.  Unsurprisingly, the HSE has confirmed that there are no health and safety regulations which prevent this.
