Having moved to Devon at an early age, Juliet attended Colyton Grammar School and then read Law at Exeter University. She completed her studies at the College of Law, Guildford She then joined the London firm of Alison Trent & Co and qualified in 1996. Alison Trent & Co specialised in civil litigation, especially professional negligence, banking litigation, taxations, agency and legal aid work, largely conducting cases in the High Court and Court of Appeal. 

In 1998 Juliet moved to Colemans-ctts at their Kingston office and joined their Commercial Litigation Department acting for both local and national business clients. In 2000 Juliet transferred to the expanding legal expenses insurance department and established the Property and Neighbourhood Dispute Resolution Team. Juliet was made an Associate in 2004. As the senior member of the team, Juliet concentrated on high value and complex property, contract and professional negligence litigation. She has  worked with many specialist Counsel and experts. The department was acting for many leading UK insurers with a national client base who required adherence to stringent auditing, service and reporting standards. Juliet developed the team which continues to grow.

In addition to her extensive litigation experience, Juliet also enjoys giving in-house and external lectures and training many trainees, solicitors and other staff.

Juliet joined Howell-Jones in January 2007.  In May 2007 she was made a Partner and heads the Dispute Resolution and Employment Team based at our Kingston Office.

Juliet is married with young twin girls, who keep her fully occupied!  She loves cooking, swimming, pilates, cycling and frequent visits to the West Country.
