Sarah Cornes
Sarah Cornes has practised as a specialist in family law for nearly 20 years, in London and Surrey and joined Howell-Jones in 2008 bringing to the firm considerable experience in family law practice.
Sarah undertakes all aspects of family work for married and unmarried couples, in particular disputes concerning children and financial settlements.
As one of the first family lawyers to train as a Resolution mediator, Sarah has always been involved in the innovative side of family law. She is a member of Resolution and the Law Society Advanced Family Law Panel.
Sarah is committed to guiding her clients expertly and sensitively through the legal process of matrimonial breakdown. As a collaborative lawyer, Sarah also believes passionately in the collaborative process whereby both parties and their solicitors meet as an alternative to the conflict of court proceedings to seek a solution that benefits of the whole family.
Outside work, Sarah is seldom still. She has scaled Mount Kilimanjaro; sailed in the Fastnet race, and also enjoys scuba diving and cycling.
