Quality Standards

Howell-Jones LLP has always been proud of the high levels of client service that are offered across the firm; in all offices, and for all types of work.

To augment that reputation the firm underwent rigorous assessment to achieve the Lexcel practice management standard (initially in 2003). Further information about Lexcel is shown below.

In November 2009, we successfully achieved the revised Lexcel v4 and in doing so, received a number of outstanding comments from the assessment body.

Howell-Jones LLP will continue to offer the highest levels of service and to continually look at ways of improving our systems and processes even further.

Lexcel

Lexcel is the Law Society's practice management quality mark. It is granted to law firms that can demonstrate that the Lexcel Practice Management Standards are being met. It is the most appropriate standard for the legal profession as it was written by solicitors for solicitors and is evidence of a well managed practice committed to a quality service.

In order to attain the quality mark the firm is subject to several days of independent assessment to certify that the requirements are being met. Once the standards have been awarded, the firm is assessed annually to ensure that levels of quality are maintained, and indeed improved upon.

The benefits to the firm are widespread, from the way that we deal with management and strategy issues, our people and, most importantly, in the way in which we deal with our clients.
