01 June 2011

We have previously reported that a businessman was suing her plastic surgeon after her facelift surgery went wrong.

The businesswoman sufferednerve damage to the right side of her face and claimed that the plastic surgeon carried out experimental surgery without her consent.  The plastic surgeon admitted liability but denied the surgery was experimental.

The BBC News website has reported this week that the High Court awarded the businesswoman £6,190,884.92.  Most of the compensation awarded was for past and future loss of earnings.
