Christmas myths published by the Health and Safety Executive
21 December 2011
Christmas is nearly upon us and the Health and Safety Executive (“HSE”) has published a list of Christmas myths.
Health and safety is often cited as a reason for preventing activities from going ahead but the HSE is keen for festivities not to be ruined by these myths.
You will be pleased to hear that the HSE has confirmed that children are not banned from having snowball fights, office workers are allowed to put up decorations, Santa has not been ordered to buckle up his sleigh and carol singers are not a health and safety risk!
