Compensation for warehouse worker injured at work
15 March 2011
Our client worked as a warehouseman for a leading delivery company. He was injured when unloading a lorry using an electric ramp which was faulty, crushing both his legs. He suffered fractures to both his ankles.
We advised our client that his employer was responsible for the accident as they had failed to provide him with a safe system of work and failed to train him in the operation of the electronic ramp. We negotiated a substantial settlement. He received compensation for the pain and suffering and past and future loss of earnings.
