Compensation for woman injured whilst on holiday
31 March 2011
Our client booked a package holiday to an exotic destination through a leading holiday tour operator. On the first day of her holiday she tripped over a small wall, causing her to suffer fractures to her hand. We advised our client that the tour operator was responsible for her accident as the wall was hidden and the area was unlit.
The leading holiday tour operator initially denied liability. We obtained further evidence and commenced Court proceedings. Faced with the prospect of Court proceedings, the tour operator was prepared to negotiate. We succeeded in obtaining compensation for our client for the pain and suffering as well as past and future losses.
Our Personal Injury team members have many years of experience dealing with holiday claims. If you have had an accident on holiday and would like to make a claim, contact our Personal Injury team today for a telephone conversation or a free, preliminary meeting.
