Gas Safety Week

The 12 September to 18 September 2011 is Gas Safety Week. The week has been launched by the Gas Safety Register.

The aim of the week is to raise awareness of gas safety and the importance of taking care of gas appliances. The Gas Safety Register has reported that gas leaks, explosions, fires and carbon monoxide poisoning can be caused by poorly serviced and badly fitted gas appliances.
