Health and Safety Executive fine company after worker suffers severe head injuries
08 June 2011
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has reported that a property development company has been fined and ordered to pay costs after a worker suffered severe head injuries after falling from scaffolding while working in a warehouse.
The HSE found that the company failed to implement safety measures that could have prevented the accident.
The HSE said they had previously taken enforcement action against the company in relation to similar health and safety issues.
