Leading discount clothes retailer accepts liability for accident in store
28 April 2011
Our client was shopping in one of the stores of a leading discount clothes retailer when she trod on a plastic shoe hanger that had been left on the floor causing her to fall to the floor sustaining an injury to her shoulder and leg.
We advised our client that the leading clothes retailer was responsible for her injury as they had failed to take reasonable steps to ensure the floor was kept clear of obstructions. The retailer accepted liability and we negotiated settlement of our client’s claim for compensation.
