Leading supermarket chain accepts liability for accident at work
03 March 2011
Our client works as a checkout operator for a leading supermarket chain. She had just started a shift when her chair collapsed, causing our client to fall to the floor, suffering a back injury.
The leading supermarket chain initially denied liability. We visited the supermarket, obtained photographs and also statements from former employees. Faced with that evidence the supermarket chain has accepted liability and we are negotiating settlement of our client's claim for compensation which will include loss of earnings and future losses.
