Personal injury law - Health and Safety Executive issues warning

10 January 2012

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has reported that 324 workers suffered a serious injury and one person lost their life as a result of an accident at work in Surrey last year.

The HSE has issued a warning to employers, reminding them that it is their responsibility to ensure the health and safety of their employees.

There are a number of work-place regulations which employers must follow to help prevent accidents and fatalities at work.  If you have been injured at work and your employer has failed to follow the relevant regulations, you may be entitled to make a claim for compensation.

If you have had an accident at work and would like to make a claim, contact our Personal Injury team today for a telephone conversation or a free, preliminary meeting.
