Washing machine seriously injures boy
14 October 2011
The BBC News website has reported that a three-year-old boy has been seriously injured after he opened the door of a washing machine and it kept running rather than automatically stopping.
BBC News has reported that the washing machine was rented and the machine has been passed to Trading Standards investigators for examination.
We have previously reported that some faulty Beko fridge-freezers had been recalled after they caused fires in peoples’ homes. It is very concerning that everyday products are causing people to suffer injuries in their own homes.
