Worker injured after prank goes wrong

The Telegraph has reported that an electrician suffered serious internal injuries after he was the victim of a colleague’s prank involving a high pressure air hose.

The electrician continues to suffer from stomach problems as a result of the incident as well as anxiety, panic attacks and depression.

Employers are vicariously liable for the actions of their employees as long as the actions were carried out in the course of the employee’s employment.
