What others say

"I have been very happy with your service under extremely difficult circumstances and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you.” (Mr Harsum 2014)

“Many, many thanks for your help over the past two years - it is a great relief to us to have this settled. Thanks again, you have been a superstar!”

"Andrew has proved of excellent advice and the legal strategy that he devised led to a very satisfactory outcome, whereas other firms that I had initially contacted were either not hopeful for a solution or would only offer to seek a settlement at a bargain"

Experience & expertise

Andrew started practising law in 1990 when he began his training in the City, specialising in civil litigation.  Andrew qualified as a Legal Executive in 1996 and became a partner in 2010.  He has experience in dealing with just about any type of dispute but with particular emphasis on commercial litigation including contentious business dissolutions, contract, negligence (all types), corporate civil recovery, commercial lease disputes, intellectual property (including passing off), civil fraud and contentious probate.

Andrew’s recent successes include winning a number of high value and complicated partnership/shareholder disputes; doing likewise on his professional negligence work, and defending a highly complex multi-million pound fraud claim.  He currently undertakes a large amount of contract and intellectual property advisory work together with performing his own advocacy and legal drafting.  He is particularly skilled in dealing with complicated cases and litigation strategy.

He works closely with the business services team to provide dispute avoidance support, protecting clients from foreseeable risks.

Andrew is a Lecturer in litigation law to evening (degree) students, has written a course for the College of Law, and lectures to both the profession and outside bodies on negligence, contract, litigation and risk management.

Andrew’s time is largely taken up with his twin girls. Andrew enjoys road cycling, ice skating, swimming, horse riding, DIY and travelling with the family. Andrew has also been a keen fund raiser for all of his daughters’ schools and is involved in the PTA.
