Claire is a senior solicitor in the Wills and Probate Team.  She has over 30 years’ experience dealing with wills, probate and administration of estates, powers of attorney and inheritance tax planning and Court of Protection matters.

 

Claire qualified as a solicitor in April 1976 after graduating in Law from the University of Bristol and completing her Solicitors’ Finals examinations.  She is also a full member of STEP (Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners) and a member of the Private Client Section of the Law Society. She is a member of the Surrey Branch of the Association of Women Solicitors.  She is a past chief executive of Surrey Law Society.

She has had a varied career over the years and joined howell jones in 2003.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time with her family and loves being granny to two grandsons!  She also swims and plays tennis (if not injured!) and bridge.
