Frances qualified as a solicitor in 2007 having previously worked in investment management, regulation and compliance. Frances joined Howell Jones in 2022 as a Senior Solicitor and specialises in Wills and Estate Planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Estate Administration and Court of Protection matters.
Frances has extensive experience advising vulnerable adults, the elderly, families, business professionals, and high-net-worth individuals. She also works with charities and care homes advising and supporting clients under their care.
Frances prides herself on providing clear and pragmatic advice, specially tailored to each client’s individual needs and circumstances. Because she often meets clients during a challenging time in their lives, she understands the importance of approaching each and every person in a friendly and empathetic fashion. Frances also makes home visits for her less mobile elderly or vulnerable clients.
Frances is a full Member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP) and a Fully Accredited Member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE). She is also a Member of the STEP Mental Capacity Special Interest Group; a Dementia Friend Champion and Dementia Friend.
Outside of work, Frances loves spending time with family and friends, particularly when this involves walking, trips to the theatre and cinema and eating together. She really enjoys reading, listening to music and travelling.
