Seema completed her Solicitors Qualifying Exams in 2022 and holds an LLB (Hons) from BPP University, all of which she completed whilst working full time at Howell Jones.

Seema is a solicitor and specialises in commercial property. Her daily work covers a range of transactions including acting for both landlords and tenants in new leases and lease renewals as well as freehold sales and purchases. She also assists the senior members of the team on higher value and more complex transactions.

Seema was awarded the Trainee of the Year Award at the LawNet Annual Conference and Awards 2022 and was highly commended Rising Star of the Year Award at the Surrey Law Society Awards 2022, a fitting recognition of Seema’s determination, spirit and outstanding ability which have elevated her to be such a key member of the firm and wider legal profession.

 

Seema is a committee member of Surrey Junior Lawyers Division, a division of The Law Society specifically focused on supporting junior lawyers in Surrey through educational events, fundraisers for charities and support sessions for members. She is also on the advisory board for education provider BARBRI, to help develop their approach to the new Solicitors Qualifying Exams.

Outside of work, Seema enjoys spending time with family, reading crime fiction and travelling.
