Redundancy
Being put a risk or redundancy and being selected for redundancy can be a stressful and unnerving time for individuals. It is therefore important that the redundancy process being conducted by your employer is being carried out in a fair and proper manner.
Our specialist Employment Team has extensive experience in advising individuals through the redundancy process and procedure, helping individuals to understand criteria requirements imposed by an employer, assisting in challenging selection and explaining and formulating an individual’s entitlement to redundancy compensation payments.
Compromise agreements are increasingly being used by employers in redundancy situations. We can provide employees with independent advice in relation to the terms and effect of entering onto the agreement and the compensation package as a whole. Our specialist skills in employment can be used to help negotiate and ensure that you are getting a fair severance package from your employer. Further details are available in the Compromise agreement page.
For further information or assistance please contact Jo Cullen, the Employment Partner on 020 8549 5186 or employment@howell-jones.com.
Our clients say...
I should like to take this opportunity to thank you for your excellent work in dealing with this transaction so quickly, surely worthy of an entry in the Guinness Book of Records! "
