Lavanya holds a LLB (Hons) University of Greenwich alongside a Masters in International and Commercial Law. Lavanya went on to complete her LPC at the University of Law (Guildford) and qualified as a solicitor at a national firm before joining Howell Jones in 2021.
Lavanya has experience in all aspects of private client matters, including wills (blended families, second marriages, sensitive circumstances and diverse cultures), estate administration, lasting powers of attorney and deputyship matters.
Lavanya also specialises in personal injury trusts, which allows compensation received as a result of an accident or injury to be disregarded when assessing the eligibility for some means tested benefits and services.
Lavanya provides her clients with peace of mind that their affairs will be looked after, both during their lifetime and after they have passed away, by those they choose and trust.
Outside of work, Lavanya is an avid plant collector and adores all animals. She enjoys long woodland walks with her dog, Woody and spending time with her trio of snakes. She also loves garlic bread!
