
Lynsey Roadnight.

Lynsey is a solicitor and a key member of our Legal 500 Recommended family team. She holds a law degree from the University of Greenwich and completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Bloomsbury in 2008. She has over 15 years of pre-qualification legal experience, including private client work, residential conveyancing and criminal law. Lynsey joined Howell Jones in 2024, having previously worked with a local high street firm.
Lynsey is experienced at working with the elderly, those with disabilities, mental health concerns and learning difficulties. She can advise on all aspects of private family law, including divorce and separation, financial agreements (by agreement/consent or contested proceedings), pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and separation/cohabitation agreements.
Lynsey has particular expertise in issues relating to children, such as where they will live, who they will spend time with and other specific matters, including international re-location. She is experienced at handling applications under the Family Law Act 1996 for Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders, where there are allegations of domestic abuse.
Lynsey is a member of Resolution, an organisation which encourages family lawyers to promote a constructive approach to family issues. As part of this, she sits regular exams to retain her role as an accredited specialist lawyer in family law.
Lynsey quickly puts her clients at ease with a very client-focused approach. She provides clear, empathetic and strategic advice to her clients during some of life’s most challenging moments. She is known for her calm manner and unwavering dedication to securing the best possible outcomes for her clients.
Outside of work, Lynsey enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and her dog. She also enjoys running and attending live music concerts.
