Munira Javid Abib.

Munira is a solicitor in our Legal 500 Recommended family team. She qualified as a solicitor in 2019 and practiced at a law firm in London before joining Howell Jones in 2026.

Munira handles all areas of family law, including divorce and separation, financial arrangements (whether by agreement, consent, or through contested proceedings), pre- and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, and matters involving child arrangements.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Munira was a qualified midwife and worked for the NHS.

Munira has an empathetic, calm, client-focused approach to resolving sensitive legal matters. She combines clear legal advice with a strong understanding of the emotional challenges families face.

When not working, Munira is a keen traveller and enjoys exploring the world! She likes to read a good book from classics like Illiad to more contemporary titles such as the Harry Potter series.
